The 3 Fold Office of Jesus Christ

When Christ came he came as the ultimate, Prophet, Priest and King. What does that meant though? Soak this in, it is too much to think about in just one sitting!

Ignorance is healed through the prophetic office, guilt through the priestly, and the oppression and bondage of sin through the kingly. The prophet shows God to us; the priest leads us to God; and the king joins us together with God, and glorifies us with him.
